Helped me rent a Apartment home in Streeterville, Chicago, IL.Local knowledgeProcess expertiseResponsivenessNegotiation skillsStay away! The service this realtor provides is very poor. It takes a lot of time for them to respond to messages and calls. They try to trap you in their plans by initially offering a 12-month lease, but once it's finalized, they claim it's an 18-mo...Response from Anastasiia Hurtova on 10/11/2024
Hi Mohammad, thank you for taking the time to write this review. I would like to add some clarity to the situation so my actual and future clients can feel at peace. This customer is not a client of mine, and I have never worked with him in any capacity. He came as a rental lead on my listing. The landlord, who I represented, was looking for a longer lease (18 months). I had clearly mentioned that in the listing description, and let this customer know this when he asked. The lease was never "finalized", as he is claiming. In fact, this customer had never even filled out an application or been approved for the lease. Instead, he showed me a screenshot from Trulia/Zillow categorizing the property as "12 months lease". Because this customer is not a real estate professional, he has no idea that Zillow gives you only 3 options for that field - 1 months, 6 months, and 12 months. It doesn't let you write in the desired duration, hence this information goes into the listing description, which any interested person should read in order to get more details on a property. After I sent him a screenshot of the description that clearly said "the landlord is looking for 18 months lease to end in March 2026", and mentioned that he should read the description, his response was, I quote: "I am a Dr working at NW hospital, do you think I have time to read all the sentences! Also the picture I sent you clearly says the detail! Its good to keep the job professional!". I proceeded to let him know that I didn't care what position he was holding at the Northwestern hospital, and that he should read the listing description. My response has clearly hurt his ego and he threatened to report me. Since I have not done anything that goes against the license law or the rules of ethics, there is nothing this customer could report. Instead, he decided to write a negative review stating false information. Evidently, he had enough time to submit this "review", but not enough time to read 9 concise sentences in the listing description. To summarize all the false statements that this customer made: "It takes a lot of time for them to respond to messages and calls." - he has never called me. First message I received was returned within 3 hours. Last message he sent me on Sunday night at 7:39 pm was returned on Monday morning at 10:21 am. "They try to trap you in their plans by initially offering a 12-month lease" - the listing description clearly stated the desired lease duration from the start, the customer didn't read the description. "...but once it's finalized, they claim it's an 18-month lease" - nothing was finalized, the customer has never submitted his application and the lease has never been offered to the customer. All things considered, this "review" is completely false and doesn't speak to my expertise, knowledge and the level of service I provide to my clients. If anyone reading this has additional question, please contact me directly.
